Hargreaves, Petit Praise Iwobi's 'Beautiful' Goal Against Wolves
Former Premier League stars Emmanuel Petit and Owen Hargreaves have praised Alex Iwobi’s stunning left footed strike in Fulham’s 4-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Craven Cottage on Saturday, November 23. The goal scored from 20 yards, curled past Wolves goalkeeper José Sá and briefly gave Fulham the lead.
Speaking post match on Premier League Productions, Petit and Hargreaves described Iwobi’s effort as "beautiful" and "class." Despite the spectacular goal, Fulham could not maintain their advantage as Wolves stormed back with goals from Matheus Cunha, João Gomes, and Gonçalo Guedes to secure victory.
Iwobi has now recorded five goal contributions (three goals and two assists) in 12 Premier League appearances this season, further solidifying his importance to Fulham.
