Owo Blow at 70: Oyo, Osun Governors to honor Nigerian football legend
Dr. Felix Owolabi Akinloye, a former Green Eagles and 11CC football legend, will be celebrated on his 70th birthday in a grand event featuring dignitaries such as Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. The milestone celebration will take place on November 22, 2024, at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex in Ibadan.
In addition to the matches, a thanksgiving service will be held on November 24, 2024, at Bolads Events Centre in Ibadan, offering friends, family, and colleagues a chance to honour Owolabi’s remarkable contributions to Nigerian football.
Other notable attendees will include the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau, and members of the Nigerian football fraternity.
