In my experience visiting a couple of them, each market gives off its own unique vibe and specializes in different goods. Part of Seoul’s most famous 24-hour market, Namdaemun Night Market wheels and deals from late evening until the sun comes up. Changgyeonggung is particularly beautiful in late March, when its plum blossoms fill the palace with a lovely fragrance and pretty pink petals. During Joseon Dynasty times, it was mostly used as a living space for queens and concubines, but 링크모음365 under Japanese colonial rule, it was used as a zoo. It stayed that way until 1983, when it was finally restored back to its original glory. Seoul’s palaces are open at night at various times of the year, usually in spring and autumn, so be sure to keep an eye out for this extra special event. Located just a few hundred metres from the main Myeongdong action, Namdaemun Market is a sprawling shopping area frequented by locals and tourists alike in search of bargains. Private karaoke booths in Seoul at night are charged on an hourly rate (prices vary depending on the time of day) and they sometimes do special tourist discounts if you show your overseas ID or passport. Also daytime karaoke rates are generally cheaper than at night in Seoul. One of the best places to have Korean fried chicken in Seoul at night is beer and chicken street in Myeongdong, Nogari Alley in Euljiro, Itaewon World Street or in Hongdae or Gangnam.
