  Great combo

  The BDB is a top notch machine capable off pulling single origin shots.I have only put single origin medium roast through the grinder and you can hear it struggling, though still produces a fine enough grind for espresso. I don’t think it would be up to the task of a light roast.

  Best at home espresso machine

  Happy is an understatement! This machine can pull a shot and steam at the same time so you can make a latte so quickly. The steam is instant and dry steam. No thumping noise and pumping out water while it heats up like machines with thermoblock or thermacoil systems. I swear the coffee is tasting better as well! Difficult to get it dialed in but once you do, worth it! I also love that there is an access to fill the water tank from the front of the machine. Buy it!

  Terrible Experience - doesnt work and no one from Breville will respond

  I have been foolish enough to buy a Breville product twice. Every time the machine is good when and if it works. Products are poorly engineered and break down easily and getting support is very difficult !This product shipped without the cleaning disk. After hours on hold no one answers the phone. Had to buy an after market cleaning disk.Now in just a couple of months, after descaling, the boiler stopped working !!! Apparently it is a very common problem, but there is no troubleshooting options given. I have been trying to contact support for 2 weeks now. Every time the phone que is over 40 mins long and it disconnects after you have been on hold for a long time. They give you the option of a call back - one week later no one has called. Now when I call to be in que again, they just disconnect my call with the automated message saying we have your call back request already - SERIOUSLY ! YOU CANT CALL BACK FOR A WEEK ?Their website has a chat option that doesnt work.I emailed support, and after days I get a stupid email back asking for model number etc. which was already in my support ticket ! No resolution, no answers, no apology !!!!They wont take calls, wont give me a fix and wont take the product back ! WASTE of $1900

  Great value in a premium espresso machine!

  I bought this when my 45 year old Olympia Caffarex finally got too old to maintain. I immediately noticed a huge improvement in the flavor and texture of my morning cappuccinos. The upgrade from a 49mm to a full 58mm filter makes a big difference- although my espresso doses went from 14g to 19g, so I’m using more coffee each month. The temperature stability and digital controls help me make much more consistent drinks, and the workflow is easy and efficient. Also my digital scale fits under the portafilter, so I can measure each shot by weight, instead of guessing. I like the grinder better than my old Olympia Moca, but I might eventually get a DF64 or something better. The 8-minute morning warmup time was a big consideration compared to any of the E-61 type machines. I’m very satisfied with this choice!

  I spent about 3 to 4 months researching for the best professional home expresso machine 58mm Portafilter. This is by far the best bang for your buck and the performance of the machine and grinder is coffee shop 👌 experience. You'll need to purchase a good scale and take some tutorials on diling in the grinder and getting the best dose for your personal preferences. 18 to 19 grams of beans per cup depending on the coffee roast is best for me. I love my dynamic dual. 😉😁 ☕️

  So excited so scared…wait so darn easy

  So excited yet so nervous lol. It willBe ok Starbucks is down the street they said.Oh my goodness this is super easy! Thought for sure I was going to need a laminate cheat sheet and start two hours before I wanted coffee. Heck no you can do this. Get your beans figured out and set dials and just repeat! Get yours self a green apron and call yourself a badass. You can soooo do this.Most importantly… it looks amazing even before the amazing aroma fills the air. Thanks Breville for an amazing awesome espresso maker that makes me feel like a barista in my own home with slippers still on!

  Perfect!

  I've had a couple of these and they are bullet proof. Perfect coffee, consistently. Any way you like it, this machine delivers. proper maintenance is essential on all of these type of semi autos. Love the timer that starts it up so I can get right to coffee in the am. I've tried half dozen machines, this one is the best.
