    This trash can scares my baby - soft close but HARD OPEN

    Apparently I missed where it says this trash can only function against a flat wall. I put it next to my standard height island counter with a standard counter overhang and this thing SLAMS because the designer thought ninety degrees must be visually pleasing?Here is a photo next to my old simplehuman this was meant to replace, there is a slight angle to account for an overhang or a chair rail molding (something I never thought about until I compared against this ninety degree SLAMMER). Why didn't you test this in real life conditions?????UPDATE: product support has been very responsive to feedback, so bumping up one star. Their recommendation is to move it somewhere else in my house, or pull it four inches away from the counter. So you the reader can decide if it's worth the price of admission.

    Perfect Trash Can

    Awesome trash can. Tall enough to keep the dog out and the lid works perfectly. I love the internal trash bag holder. Easy to remove and change the bag plus they engineered the bag holder with an air hole to allow the air to escape between the container and bag. Good buy.

    Perfect for me!

    She is beautiful! Color is a rich rust that is easy to clean. The closure is very quiet. The can is tall so I recommend getting 13 gallon TALL kitchen trash bags. The best feature is because it sits flush against the , it won’t bang the wall when the lid opens. It is expensive for a trash can, but the color is exactly what I was looking for😍
