Perfect first and last espresso machine
First espresso machine ever. Got the whole kit included hand burrito grinder and all accessories. Grinder and make a double espresso every morning. Well technically cappuccino. For me I see no reason to buy any other machine.

Low quality results
Low quality and disappointing. I was very excited for this item for Father's Day as this is my first ever Espresso Machine. I've used several different ones at friends houses so I figured i just needed to practice more to hone my skills and my methods. My daughter works at a coffee shop and can't even get it to work well.The steamer is inconsistent and will warm up my milk but adds little to no froth at all.The Espresso smells burnt each time, with multiple types of beans, and gives very little amounts on the highest setting. You also have to be careful not to overpack the grounds or grind too find because it doesn't want to run at all. It's not terrible if you hardly pack the ground or run it twice and use a frother but very disappointing for the money I spent. I had hoped that spending a little extra instead of getting a cheap one would ensure a better machine but I was wrong.

Great compact espresso machine
This is a sturdy little espresso machine, not cheap plastic. I appreciated the fact that an insteuction booklet came with it, and that all of the insteuctions were clear and easy to follow, especially the first use steps. For a non-instant machine, it made a double very quickly. That looked, smelled, and tasted exactly as espresso should. All this for a very reasonable price, so I am very happy with my purchase.

Read the manual directions thoroughly to make the perfect cup.
I’ve been using this machine daily for 9 weeks. I absolutely love it! It’s easy and delicious. It took about 90 minutes to thoroughly read the manual which was very helpful in making the perfect pressure crema. The machine quality is good. If it lasts several years I’ll rate it fantastic. That is tbd. It is a great value for the money and aesthetically pleasant sitting on the countertop. Love it!

A Great Price for Great Machine
I have been brewing my own espresso at home for over 20 years which means I have gone through a significant number of machines. I never purchased anything "high end" - never spent more than $140. THIS machine, for $137.79, is a GEM. I can make TWO double espressos, back-to-back without turning off the machine, and there's STILL plenty of power in the pump, and the temp remains stable - no temperature loss AND no overheating.How do we do this? We pack the LARGE basket with expresso, then hit the DOUBLE-cup once, and then a second time. AND THEN there's still plenty of power in the pump and heat to steam the milk! This means that the two of us can drink our coffees together at the same time. ALL the other machines that I used over the last 20 years, were never able to do this, because the pump would be played out after one brew, or the heater would drop in temperature OR overheat. That means one person drinks coffee while the other has to wait for round two.But GEVI changed all that. Great price for a great espresso machine!

Buono...squisito!
Arrive and packaged very well. It is lightweight...unsure if it's metal or plastic finished to look like metal...my guess is that "parts" are the latter because the knob for the froth/steam is plastic. Nonetheless, it is well made. Moreover, the price point makes it clear it can't be a premium expresso machine. I realize this doesn't sound like a great review of this product but on the contrary it is meant to say that - it is a quality machine based in the price point. I read the manual and personalized the settings for me and I have very little critique. The 2 in 1 portafilter is quality...the water dispenser "top fill" function is good; no need to remove the unit. Frother unit works well...just wish it pulled out a little more...drip tray could be wider as it's a little difficult getting a wide-mouth cup in without taking out the main tray...not a real hassle though. All in all....it's a 9.5 in my opinion. Functions are great...easy to understand and makes a great expresso, americano, latte and variable of each 👍👍Great deal for the price!
