    PRactical steak knives that look good and are excellent to use

    I gave these as a gift to some close friends and they were rapt with them. I got to use them for a BBQ dinner and they are easy to hold, razor sharp and my friends loved the look of them.

    Rust far too easily

    I have a number of Global knives which are excellent. This set however, are disappointing! I take care and hand wash them and they show signs of rust every time they get water on them. Not great

    Mixed Feelings

    I own an assortment of Global knives, and each of them have been absolutely fantastic for upstanding functionality and design. I got these for a great value, and they work well. Maybe a tad thin in terms of comfortability to hold.Yet this is the first time I've seen a knife rust within a few hours of hand washing and drying on a mat. I thought I was 'seeing things,' so I washed it again; but the knife was, indeed, rusting. Will probably need to use baking soda to scrub off, but I'm afraid it might be too abrasive for the surface.I'm a bit bummed about this, which means I have to be diligent to dry these knives completely, immediately after washing. Not a big deal and poses and an inconvenience, but the steak knife is still a good-working one. Just wish it didn't have to rust the way it does...
