    Healthy and worth the money

My wife was insisting on buying this set because of its 'healthy' materials. As a man, I didn't really consider it necessary but now I'm the one who uses them all the time. Easy to clean, fast to heat, and heats evenly! Pretty satisfied with it, highly suggested.

    Very delicate

incredibly beautiful pots. very gentle to use. from improper storage I damaged one. now everything has started to stick to it. if one scratch appears it is a disaster. I wash it in the dishwasher. one minus. the handle gets very hot! impossible to touch. always have to use a glove

Waste of money. Trying to return

I’ve had these pans for a little over a month. And have used according to the directions with a little oil. Everything sticks to the pan. Burning the food. I’ve tried turning the heat down, still burns. Also today I noticed that some of the pans were beginning to peel. Incredibly bummed as I was hoping these would last us for years. - didn’t make 2 months.

    High quality, non stick

I waited a for a month of use to review. If you follow the instructions, don't always use the highest heat setting, use non metal utensils, use the protectors to nest etc this set should last a long time. Very easy to clean, even heat. My only complaint is the pot lids don't have a hole for steam that my old set had so you have to leave the lid tilted on pot to avoid boil over.

    We love these pans.

We stayed at a condo that had a set of these on vacation. They worked perfectly and I was so impressed, I bought some for us to use at home. Plus it was time to dispose of our Pampered Chef worn out pans and skillets. Now we have cast iron and these to use. They come with felt for stacking and have a great appearance. It is versatile and can NOT be used on high heat. But heat (we have gas) transfers on low to cook eggs. We use cast iron for pancakes, fatty meats (beef smoked sausage) and other items. Other than that, we use these.

Satisfactory replacement for my Teflon cookware

I purchased a full set of GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware a year ago, some individual items and a large set. The large set arrived in a box packed intricately, and I found only a couple insignificant chips to the coating from transit. After using the cookware for a year, I would say I’m mostly satisfied. Its nonstick characteristics are holding up well, and it doesn’t seem to suffer from regular dishwasher cleanings using Cascade Platinum. Often the pan can be sprayed with water, wiped dry and stored without any detergent. The bottoms are slightly prone to minor rust if they stay wet, but that hasn’t been a problem for me. The nonstick is very good, and I’m hoping the chemically inert properties are accurately represented as ditching Teflon-coated cookware was the paramount reason for buying these. The exterior coating is also very durable. The thickness of the pans is just enough to be satisfactory. Their light weight and durability allow me to use them when car camping.I find the slightly concave bottoms are not ideal for a solid surface cooktop since there is reduced heat transfer, but it isn’t a showstopper. On an induction stove, it seems as though the ferrous portion doesn’t quite fully span the bottom on some pans so they don’t heat as fully or evenly as they might otherwise. The most satisfactory heat source for these pans is a gas flame. The rough texture on the bottoms is helpful preventing the pans slipping around on tabletop canister stoves, which I appreciate.Another issue is with the lids. They let steam/condensation escape through the seam between the glass and the stainless-steel surround rim which causes water to pool on the lid and eventually dribble onto whatever cooktop you are using even when just simmering. You learn to lift the lid above the pan so it can drip all this water into the pan. And the handles get very hot fairly quickly, so you have to use a hot pad.Overall, I’m happy with this GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware and for the money, I’d b

Good and Bad after 3 ½ years

I have had my pans for 3 ½ years, use them daily, and have experienced both the good and bad these pans have to offer. No doubt, right out of the box, nothing sticks to these pans. But for a variety of reasons the super slick nature eventually diminishes. The pans are still decent compared to other non-stick options. My pans arrived with some of the ceramic coating missing along the very top of the rim of one of the pans. I contacted GreenPan and was told that they would not replace the single pan from the 16-piece set, but I could repackage and return the entire set to Amazon. I elected not to do that and kept the pan. After several more months the ceramic coating began to flake off of the rivets that attach the handle to the three sauté pans. I contacted GreenPan and was told that this did not qualify as a defect and that the missing ceramic coating did not degrade the usability of the pan.Well, I was very skeptical and concerned that GreenPan was just gaslighting me. It is true that extremely sticky foods like eggs tend to stick to the rivets but all in all it is minor and it takes only a little extra scrubbing or soaking to remove the stuck-on food. After 6-months in service my pans were no longer had that super slick surface but were still fairly easy to clean up. After the first-year food started to stick such that, I had to soak the pans for a while during cleanup. After a little research I learned to use a melamine foam sponge to clean-off cooking residue that was building up on the ceramic surface and causing food to stick. It really does help restore a certain degree of non-stick to the surface. It does not renew the surface to the point of the just out of the box surface, but they are still easy to clean. These pans are very lightweight and the surface heats up very fast. However there is some unevenness in the heating. I have a Thermador range with the 5-point star pattern burners which helps keep a very evenly distributed flame. I still rotate my pans duri
