    Hurom H70 Juicer Review

I am really impressed with the Hurom H70. It’s well-built, looks great on the counter, and makes smooth juice with very dry pulp. It’s also surprisingly quiet. Its best feature is super easy cleanup. It has fewer parts and a quick rinse is usually enough, which makes it great for everyday use. I’ve juiced carrots, apples, and leafy greens with no issues. Definitely feels like a high-quality, thoughtfully designed juicer. Highly recommend.

Hard to unlock when finished juicing

Juicer works well but I have a real problem with it not dissasembling properly. All is well until you have to take it apart. I spent about 15 minutes trying to get the thing to unlock and it wouldn't so I called my husband to help. He struggled with it for about 5 more minutes then suddenly it opened. this happed 2 out of the 2 times I juiced with it. I'm wondering if it was previously owned by someone else because when I unpacked it from the packaging it was already assembled. My sister has one of these and she doesn't have this issue so it might be just one in a million that is defective. I'm returning it.

Very good investment for those who regularly

I've been using the H70 for one week now and am extremely satisfied with the reduced prep and cleaning times. The prep time is reduced since I can do other things (such as cut more veggies and clean up the counter) while the juicer is working. I had been using a Champion Juicer for the past 25 years. I'll probably still use it for "ice cream". Like many most "old style" juicers, the Champion juicer requires cutting up the vegetables, pushing them down a chute where they meet their destruction from a bladed rotating auger, which then causes the juice to separate from the plant fiber. The downsides to this technology are that the cutting and grinding causes significant oxidation in the juice which leads to nutrient loss. Also, the small parts and encasing were no fun to clean. On the other hand, with the H70, I now place the ingredients in a hopper, and they automatically move downward and get pressed (not cut) by a vertical auger which causes separation from juice and fiber and with far less oxidation. The cleanup involves spraying down four machine pieces, which takes less than two minutes. Best of all, the juice tastes much better with far less noticeable oxidation. I can now juice twice a day without it feeling like a time-consuming chore. In terms of saved time and improved nutrition, the juicer will pay for itself by the end of the year.

Love this! So easy to clean.

Love this juicer. So easy to clean in just a few minutes. I juiced years ago but had the metal screen which was horrible to clean. That one ended up going to Goodwill. I like the wide top so you don't have to cut the fruits and veggies into tiny pieces. It produces very dry pulp so you know your'e getting the benefit of the juice. The Huron H70 is well worth the money but you can find it on sale once in a while.
