  15 September 2025: Bumping up from 2 stars to 4 stars.2n order update: The quality of parts are better this time. My wife is happy after nearly 18 months usage.Pros: Very sturdy, good looking set.Cons:Minor rust occurred on top lid surface.Very heavy. It is heavy for an average man like me, so if you are tiny or old this set is not for you. I suggest you to check 3 ply options. Like Lagostina set I ordered recently - It was far lighter + 0 scratch or appearance concerns. But still my wife is happy with Misen set.24 January 2024: I was very excited to receive pot & pans after one week wait, until I opened the box and found dents, damages, scratches, coating mistakes on nearly each piece. Only 2,3 pieces out of 12 was in good quality. If it was simple scratches I would accept it, but heavy dent on inner surface is not acceptable. Now I have to drop this 18 kg heavy load to UPS for return.If the incoming quality was acceptable, pans and pots are on the heavy side and look study. I have not used them so I do not say anything about the cooking quality.I will re-order the same set. If it arrives in the same low quality I will share again here.

  The quality is exceptional

  We couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The quality is exceptional and these should last a long time. Definitely heavy duty and they have some weight to them, which is to be expected. We bought barkeepers friend and a non abrasive scotchbrite to keep them shiny. There is a learning curve cooking with stainless steel compared to.non stick, but once you get the hang of it, our food turns out better with stainless steel.

  Amazing 12 piece set that completed my kitchen

  I've used Misen knives (chef's knife and paring knife) and was excited to see their big stainless steel set on Amazon. I ordered it immediately and was excited to get it in the mail. Every product in the set feels and looks great - has a nice weight to it and just looks beautiful in my kitchen. The stainless steel truly does cook my food evenly which I appreciate. I am so excited to make soups, stews, stir-fries, and more with it. I already used some of the products and I think my favorite product is the 6 qt rondeau because of how versatile it is. I never owned one before but it has quickly become a great addition to my kitchen.The value of this set is what got me to purchase it, but the quality is what makes me want to buy more. I highly recommend buying this product and any other Misen products. I know I certainly will continue to be a customer.

  These have been my favorite since purchased

  These were a birthday gift for me years ago, I use them every day. I've always been passionate about cooking and these have leveled up my passion and skills. Retains heat so well, my old pans were some thin cusine art ones that struggled with heat retention. And they clean so easily. A little barkeeper's friend every now and then brings the shine back

  Amazing Cookware!! 10/10

  I had been looking to find a descent cookware set for some time and my friend recommended the brand Misen and I could not be more pleased.I originally ordered the 5 piece set but when they arrived I loved them so much I returned them and got the 9 piece set.I was a little hesitant about getting stainless steel because I’ve heard heard horror stories about cleaning them but I was very pleased that these pots were not only easy to hand clean but they are dishwasher safe as well. Huge plus for me.I live in an apartment with older electric coil burners and I’ve always had an issue with proper heat distribution but with these Misen pots it’s like I’m cooking on a gas burner. I’ve had even cooking on all my meals and have been able to control the temps like a pro even with a sub par range.I’ve had these pots for about a month and they are one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long while. They are worth every penny and would recommend them for anyone. Beginners to Expert level chefs.
