    Very difficult to assemble

Very difficult to assemble and very loud when running. Im not happy with mine at all. This is my 3rd pit boss smoker.

    Very poor item

Item was almost 2 weeks later than original delivery date. Then it doesn't work. Auger continually quits and heat never stays at set temp. Always goes too high

    B.O.A. BROKEN ON ARRIVAL

Came broken. Won't turn on. Waiting on parts to fix a brand new smoker I spent 2 hours to assemble. Very disappointed with this smoker at the moment.

Poor Quality Control - Fan not connected. Shipping Damage

After fully assembling the product there was some shipping damage that bent the pellet hopper. Likely due to shipping damage.Upon initial use... the fan/blower would not run and the startup sequence failed. Had to take apart the wiring harness and found one of the fan/blower wires not connected. Seems to work fine now, however this reflects poorly on the quality control for this product... Time will tell!

    Great unit for smoking bacon.

My pit boss 3 gave up so I upgraded to 6 Series. It is much larger than my previous unit. I prefer the vertical smokers for ease of use. No chopping wood. This is the first blue toothed unit for me. It was very easy to set up. I also like the folding shelf on side of unit. I wish the controller unit as on front side instead of back side. The temperature control seems to hold well.

Pit Boss Navigator 3 Series Vertical Smoker — Formal Review

Dear Pit Boss Support Team,- I am providing structured user feedback based on multiple experiences with the Navigator 3 Series Vertical Smoker. Here are the major worries:- Auger jams on new bags of pellets for frequent feeding interrupts and erratic smoke output. Possible contributing factors include auger clearance, dust buildup and pellet moisture variability by bag.– Temperature management problems, i.e., non-accurate readings, latency, and inconsistent stabilize temperature that compromise heat/smoke uniformity. These could include PID tuning and airflow/venting design.- Highly not recommended at all until Pit Boss addresses the Auger Jams issue!!

    Great little smoker

I'm not sure why this smoker has a bad rating. I just bought it and made pulled pork. Everything worked as advertised. I know it's only one smoke but so far so good. Time will tell. I definitely recommend this smoker.
