    Gorgeous, solid set of pans

Just received the 12 piece set and LOVE it! The finish, feel and weight of them is amazing and better than I expected. I have only used two pieces so far - made scrambled eggs in the frying pan and nothing stuck and was a breeze to clean. This set IS made in Brazil and says so on the bottom of each pan. Highly recommend this set - can't wait to use the rest of them!

Exceptional Quality at the Best Price

I recently purchased this stainless steel cookware set, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The sizes of the pots and pans are incredibly practical, perfectly catering to a wide range of cooking needs from simmering soups to sautéing vegetables. The design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflects the high quality of the materials used. These pieces are durable and feel substantial in hand, promising years of reliable use. Impressively, the actual set looks even better than the images, showcasing the manufacturer’s attention to detail and commitment to quality. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a casual cook, this cookware set is a remarkable investment that combines functionality with elegance.

    Tramontina is the best

I did a ton of research because I needed new cookware. And in terms of quality versus price Tramontina is the definite all around winner. It is Triclad up the sides not just on the bottom, and they are heavy, ergonomic and beautiful. The Gourmet set which I bought has stainless steel lids which I love. There are 8, 10 or 12 piece sets. . I bought the 12 pièce which has all the necessary sizes for all of your cooking needs. Follow the instructions to make sure they last a lifetime I just can’t say enough good things about Tramontina. They are built in Brazil which is another plus. If you’ve been shopping for quality cookware, look no further. Quite pricey though but if you take care of them, they should last a very long time.

    Excellent set

Excellent set. We love everything about it, from heat distribution to sturdiness. The inside of the pots do stain easily, but it doesn't affect their performance.

    Good quality overall.

I like this set, they do clean up easily. They get a little patina but they still look fine. Not very heavy sobeasy to use. Handle stays cool. The only 2 complaints I have is not being able to withstand higher heat on an electric stove, and the variety of sizes that come with the set. The small pot and pan are really unnecessary. Would have liked a 12" pan and an extra 3 qt.

Extremely difficult to clean from just normal use.

Absolutely the worst purchase my wife and I have ever made. The Tramontina Signature Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel pans look good and things cook well in them, but they are impossible to keep clean. Let me backup and explain that both my wife and I hold advanced college degrees in STEM subjects, we both know how to read instruction manuals and how to follow instructions. In fact we have both written detailed user manuals back when we were software analysts. We followed the maintenance and cleaning instructions and never burnt or overcooked any food in the pans. Saute anything in a saute pan- forget it. We finally tried the blue Scotch non-marring pads- lots of work with no results. We then were forced to use the green Scotch pads and yes- they left fine scratches, and barely cleaned the pans.Tomorrow they will go to the county recycle center and I will enjoy throwing them into the compactor. We give a lot to charity and donate to places like Goodwill and other thrift stores, but there is no way I would want anyone else to suffer with these pans.

Good quality that fits the budget

Context for this review: I am a stay at home mom with three kids and I cook almost every meal. Occasionally I order a pizza or buy burgers but I make three meals a day. I avoid canned and frozen food, or anything premade. I do oatmeal, but no cereal. When I say I use every pot and pan I own- I mean it. I do not enjoy cooking (or cleaning) but I love my kids so it’s fun to feed them food that tastes good. I stopped using nonstick pans for health reasons. I initially invested in top of the line stainless steel pans of different sizes from proclamation and other brands. I did not buy pots though because I was having problems switching my hubby over. Spending over a thousand out of the gate was a lot so I decided to save up for pots. I had one older stainless steel pot that was larger and had to do. I have now successfully switched my hubby over and saved money so I needed at least one stainless steel pot of a medium size and was looking at price points. After the great reviews I saw from stainless steel lovers who had high end pans- they made clear there wasn’t a huge difference between the more expensive ones and these. So instead of buying one high end stainless steel pot, I bought a huge variety from this brand. I have tested them out and I am here to tell you, the reviews that say there isn’t a huge difference are right.I have used most of the pots and pans to make: pancakes, rice, eggs, omelettes (proper), beans, asparagus, etc. and there isn’t too much of a difference. The biggest difference I found was that these are more heat sensitive (I cook with gas) and you have to keep an eye on the pan because it’ll burn faster if you don’t adjust heat. I was making eggs over easy and had to reduce heat after the eggs were in to avoid sticking. My higher quality stainless steel are heavier and take longer to heat. Still these pans were worth the price and I will update once I see if they hold up to my nonstop cooking.
