  Poor Performance After Six Months

  Purchased in late December 2025. After 7 months almost to the day we are moving on from GE Profile. Yes costly but it doesn’t make coffee to the same level it did the first 6 months. We have followed all the cleaning instructions consistently (which are a pain in the buns), have reset all the setting, tried different setting, etc. and it fails to reach the level of performance it provided previously. There are tons of choices available on the market so I would suggest purchasing another product.

  This is the coolest coffee maker I’ve ever owned. It makes everything to the Gold standard for coffee brewing. That’s a thing. Check it out. The coffee is delicious. The app is intuitive and allows full control from anywhere. If your wife is home in the kitchen and you’re on a flight over the Great Lakes, pull up the app and start the grinder. She’ll love you for it.

  Stop working after 3 months. No customer services from GE

  I would not recommend buying any small appliances from GEAfter only three months of used the coffee maker is going to a pause and is asking to filed the water tank. I had cleaned and power of and on hopping for a reset. I called GE customer services but their department only works with big appliances. They say that they will notify the small appliances department and senone will text me. I have to call two times to finally received and e-mail. They requested a picture and I send two. One with the message and other showing the tank full of water.The person that was assign to the case requested it again. I reply that the pictures are already send. Never her of them again. After tree week waiting and e-mail back asking to the ticket to escalated and still no answer. Is been about two months from de the first call to now.I like the stile of the machine and when was working, I was satisfy. It is no a ship product and to stop working in such short time moreover the non customer services from GE is not way that I would recommend it.Angel Gonzalez

  Make excellent tasting coffee every time!

  Makes a great tasting cup of coffee every time! Extremely pleased with this purchase. This GE Profile grind and brew coffee maker is excellent and very happy we purchased. reading previous reviews helped me decide to purchase and very pleased with this coffee maker!! While the price is rather steep, this coffee maker actually pays for itself with what we were spending on Neapresso single serve pods and also from wasting half pots of coffee brewed with our former coffee maker because the coffee from our old machine tasted bitter after sitting for even a short time. Like another review stated I too had the cuisinart grind and brew machine in the past and this makes superior tasting coffee. The one "negative" is that it is just slightly too tall to fit under our kitchen cabinets. it is 16.5 inches tall and we have 16.25 inches of clearance between our counter and kitchen cabinets. I read this in another review as well which was helpful. I would suggest making this slightly shorter but over all highly recommended this coffee maker to any serious coffee drinker!! we love our morning coffee and this new purchase has added a step of additional satisfaction to our morning coffee routine and drinking!

  What I used to do before I bought this coffee maker was to use a smal grinder to grind beans freshly every morning. I would fill the tank with water and it would make a 20 ounce cup for the day. It was a few manual steps every morning. It was also inconsistent.What I was seeking in an automated coffee maker was I would push a button and get a consistently good cup of coffee every morning. I've had the GE for not even two months so far. The first issue I ran into was I would find water around the machine. Sometimes it dripped out of the vent; other times I'm not sure where. So there is regular water cleanup.The other and bigger issue is it does not consistently grind the beans. It starts to grind then I can hear that it is grinding nothing. It then stops and tells me to add beans. There are lots of beans in there. I spread them around a bit. Sometimes I hold the lid down on the top to see if that helps. I often have to do this twice during a single brew. Because it is grinding nothing for periods of time, the coffee is weak. I may go back to my daily grinder so I get a decent cup of coffee.But this is terribly disappointing. I cleaned the grinder multiple times. For this price, I would not recommend this product at all.

  Morning chaos

  This is my first Amazon review ever, so you know this thing had to be bad.For the price, this is hands down the worst coffee maker I’ve ever owned. My mom’s $20 Hamilton Beach from Target is more reliable.We got it a few days before leaving for a two-week vacation, so we barely used it before we left. When we got home and started using it daily, the problems were impossible to ignore.The basket door pops open while grinding every single time. Sometimes once, sometimes five times. Instead of waking up to coffee, you wake up to an open basket and half-ground beans. If you actually want coffee, be prepared to stand there and hold the door shut like you’re diffusing a bomb.We all have stories in this house. The basket door flying open hit my water jug knocking it over into my coffee mug which flies to the floor breaking and the jug landing in a sink of clean dishes breaking one there too.The grounds basket also fits terribly. Every morning it’s a game of “take it out, put it back, nope…try again.”By the time I realized ours had to be defective, the 30-day return window had passed because we hadn’t really used it before vacation. That’s unfortunate.If your morning routine includes enough chaos already, skip this one.

  Barista Recommended-Don’t forget the cleaning

  Makes making great coffee a breeze. Commercial quality which means keeping it clean especially if you are using oily beans. Using GRINZ pellets as cleaning is indicated by the machine keep all the internals beautifully polished and flowing. I did talk to GE and they noted the special care needed for oily beans. Just keep it maintained (easy) and you and your guests will find this brew-maker a delight. A real confidence builder for someone like me who has trouble getting coffee just right. My Master-Brewer Son-in-Law recommended this machine to me…now no excuses!
