    Yes, it is just a knife

    I use this when the standard 8" is just too unwieldy, like for cutting small items. Nice looks, comfortable grip, nice steel.The blade length is really 6 inches,even though it claims 5 and a quarter.

    Handle too small

    Blade seems like ZDP. ZDP can chip but the edge IS wicked sharp. In the end, the handle is too teeny tiny and returned.

    Matte Finish??

    Didn't feel like a $200 knife to me. Finish was matte, which wasn't apparent in the photos. Very rigid and awkward to hold. Returned it immediately :(
