  Easy to use

  Switched from gas to induction. A couple of my favorite pots won't work, but otherwise a short learning curve. Clean up is much easier, invisible glass cleaner as second wipe leaves sparkling clean. The odd spillover that bakes on comes off with brasso and a microfibre cloth/a little elbow grease.In general delivers more even and controllable heat. The expensive part was getting the electrical service run and gas capped off (about 1200).Much safer than gas and a great option from the safety perspective.

  Lots of power but..

  This top can boil a pot of water in less than a minute and a large pot of water in 2 minutes. But there is one major flaw. If water splashes on the control panel or you try to use it with wet or even damp hands, cancel your dinner plans. It has a freakout and there is no telling how long it will not work for. Often we dont cook for a week and then when we do, to get it to even turn on I have to go in the basement and turn the breaker off, wait a minute, then turn the breaker back on. After that its fine (unless a water drop hits the control panel - heaven forbid you cook pasta sauce lol).

  Exactly what I wanted

  Received it so fast. So easy to switch the old one out. Easy to understand the way to use each burner. Looks so nice. Works wonderfully Love the induction. Never had an induction before, now I do not know if I would go back to the other.

  Ok I did a little research before buuying this. After going to home depos and home hardwares trying to test out what was going to not scratch and basically be a POS. After looking into a few different things I thought what the hell. its amazon. if it sucks i will return it. Got it shipped out via canada post-i was happy to see that it was in perfect order. my husband and I took the old cook top out and was pleased to see it was literally a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging this one in. It came with all the ends required! We hooked it up and were off to the races. It cooks great. Nice and steady heat. doesnt hit the temp and 'damper' down like many I looked at. This bad boy has my water boiling in 3 mins. or less. the ultra high option is a Great feature. Because I have next to zero patience the answer is yes- i have boiled over things like potatoes and pasta. and fortunately it is just a matter of lifting the pot and giving it a quick wipe. clean up with this thing is a total breeze. so happy my made the decision that I did to just wing it and order from amazon!

  Outstanding Product and Truly Exceptional Customer Service

  This product has been excellent, and the customer service experience was even better. After about a year, I had an issue with the glass (I couldn’t say for sure whether it was somehow my fault or a product defect), so I reached out to customer support. They responded quickly and offered to send a replacement unit. At the time, they didn’t have the exact model in stock and gave me the option to either receive a newer model with a different configuration or wait a couple of weeks for the original one. I chose to wait since we really liked the layout of the original model.A couple of weeks later, I followed up, assuming I might need to remind them, but to my surprise, within an hour, they replied with a tracking number. The replacement had already been shipped. The entire process was smooth and handled perfectly. Honestly, this was one of the best customer support experiences I’ve ever had. I only wish more companies operated this way.

  If you know what induction is, this is a great cooktop.

  We had an unfortunate accident with our old/traditional all-electric cooktop where a stone mortar was dropped and smashed the glass. So... in the market for a new cooktop. We've had a plug-in induction cooktop for years and loved it and decided to make the change to upgrade to an all-electric induction cooktop. Lowes and other places had them for $2,200+ with delivery 2+ months out. We took a chance on this unit for about $460 and boy are we glad we did. The unit dropped into the hole we had in our granite cooktop, wired into the electric box we used for our old traditional cooktop, and was installed in under an hour.The product works absolutely great. We bought induction friendly pots and pans (that almost cost the same as the cooktop) and they do a perfect job. We also bought some induction-friendly cooking mats. Those keep the cooking surface from getting scratches. Together, we've found the whole cooking process is very easy and this product is a champ.With that said, warranty information on this product is hard to find. The company is small and support seems like it would be low (though we have not needed any support). We figure, for $480, if we get 2 years out of it and need to buy a new one then we will still come out ahead vs a "name brand". However, we doubt we will have any problems with it as it seems the product is well built.
