  1 bag vacuumed! 😔

  I tried everything and only got 1 bag to vacuume around a plastic spoon.All food attempts failed to vacuum.I tried repeatedly moving the end around the plastic center area, in out a little nothing.You could see a slight vacuum but not even close to getting air out. I did better by hand.I tried every different setting too.The spoon vacuumed perfectly with only 2 small air pockets.Is it reading the food moisture and shutting down?Don't know and after an hr of trying and rereading instructions thinking I had something not right I gave up.I've been sealing my foods for over 30 yrs, never had this issue until the seals went bad on my game food sealer.Did I just get a bad device? Don't know and tired of trying.Nope do not recommend.Too bad, I thought all the buttons would be helpful but oh well.PsDidn't come with the hose for canister sealing either.PssSince the gasket is different, where would you get replacement parts?

  Great machine

  I admit to being concerned about purchasing a brand that I didn't recognize, but the reviews were good, and it had all of the features I wanted. It is better than my expectations. It has three moisture levels for full 95 kpa vacuum plus a 40 kpa gentle choice. It can do single or double seal. It has a pulse function. It has internal roll bag storage and a cutter. The trough for the bag is removable for easy cleaning. There's also a sensor to detect liquid in the trough. It even has a little lever to hold the bag in the trough. The bottom has a holder for the external vacuum hose. It is obviously well thought out. I'm not sure, but I think it also prevents overheating of the sealing bar. It does take a little longer to seal than some machines, but I don't have a problem with a few extra seconds for a good seal. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to close the top without locking it. You never want to store a vacuum sealer locked closed as that will potentially damage the sealing gaskets. This machine has a spring load top so it stays open if not locked down which makes storage possibly problematic. I get around this by storing with the cord wrapped around it to keep the top loosely closed. All said, a great machine with every feature including some I never even thought about.

  Highly recommend! Great sealer at a great price! Saves so much time!

  I love this vacuum sealer! I had a much less expensive one prior to buying this one and if the bag wasn't positioned just exactly right it wouldn't hold the vacuum long enough for the seal to take! Very aggravating when sealing one bag took 15 minutes of positioning and repositioning again and again! This sealer is a game changer! Seals every time the FIRST time! No time consuming fiddling with the bags positioning only to try it and it fail. This is a great quality sealer with all the settings and options you need for sealing any contents (frozen meat versus soft fresh fruit). If you need a good vacuum sealer, get this one!
