  Not as easy to clean as some let on, but a great performer.

  Overall I really like having this device. Very nice to be able to make high protein low calorie pints during a calorie deficit... now I haven't tried a Ninja Creami, so I don't know if these are common issues with that unit as well, could be, but not sure.Cons:1. ) Cleaning isn't quite as smooth as I thought it would be. The pieces that come out of the machine are very easy to clean, but the shaft that is stationary needs a wipe down ever time you run a cycle... I even wipe it down for remixes b/c if you don't it will make a mess in there.2.) Coming back 2 weeks later to do the review and noticing it's $30 cheaper! LOL - my fault I guess.3.) Very loud... don't let reviewers convince you it won't be. This thing is like a leaf blower in your kitchen.... I know that's the nature of the beast with these makers, but just so you know... It's very very loud.Pros:1.) The end product is fantastic... I make a whey protein ice cream every night now and it's become a ritual of my evenings. Very nice during a cut... good amount of volume and satisfaction. I make this every night now:- **372 cal / 58g protein / 18g carbs / 6g fat** (light ice cream setting with one re-spin)- 40g whey/casein mix protein- 20g peanut butter powder- 330g Fairlife ultra-filtered milk- 1g Tara gum powder2.) Extreme ability to tailor and experiment with new recipes / know your ingredients...3.) Cheaper than the Ninja Creami...4.) Blade comes out for cleaning5.) Extra containers are reasonably priced.----------------All in all I like it, but the shaft cleaning is a major pain... also wait for sales I guess b/c the price drop is pretty substantial.

  Creamy texture

  The machine works great at creating creamy ice cream. It is loud, but it has a door that you shut in the front that decreases some of the noise. The clean-up is very easy, as the blades attach and detach magnetically to the blender lid. I like how it comes with 3 containers as well.Edit:Removed a star. The magnetic blade keeps detaching during the mix-in cycle. I tried blending the same ice cream twice, and both times, towards the end of the cycle, it came off and would not finish the mix-in cycle.

  I LOVE this machine!!!! I use it at least 3 times a week if not more. The machine is loud, but that doesn’t bother me, the ice cream is absolutely worth it! Just like the other reviews said, let your frozen pint sit out for about 15 minutes before you run the cycle. I am still amazed at the outcome, smooth creamy ice cream from milk and protein powder?? Amazing. Worth every penny.

  Perfect for froyo!

  I couldn't find many reviews or videos online regarding the Perfect Pint, but I took the gamble and I'm not disappointed.I've never had or experienced a Creami, but judging from what I read online in regards to tips and recipes, it sounds like it produces a nearly identical product in the end to what I'm getting with the Perfect Pint. The pro's are that it's easier to clean than the competitor. I throw all of the removable parts in the dishwasher. It says not to use high heat, but they everything seems to survive my sanitize cycle just fine on the top rack. Should you want extra pint containers, those are also cheaper than the competitor.It is loud! It's only a few minutes, but unless you live in a mansion, no one is going to sleep through this machine when it's running. If I was ONLY making traditional ice cream, than a traditional ice cream maker is probably a better choice. I purchased this specifically to make frozen yogurt and milk alternative ice creams. It does a fantastic job with both, which traditional ice cream makers do not. Just like regular ice cream, you do need to figure out the right proportions of fat and sugar to get a creamy base.I have to admit, my first "spin" I was a bit disappointed due to the noise and my mixture turned out a bit icey. Once I did a "respin" and got a nice creamy froyo treat I soon forgot about the initial shock of the noise.

  B&D One Pint Ice Cream Maker

  This ice cream maker is really too easy to use! The pint freezer containers are so much better than the previous 2 quart freezer containers. The B&D is stylish, has a smaller footprint than earlier models and so far whips ice cream in minutes. I especially like that i know what goes into my ice cream/sorbets and I am enjoying high protein treats!

  Easy to use, easy to clean

  I don’t normally write reviews, but this ice cream maker is the best appliance I own. I made protein ice cream using Exercise4CheatMeal’s Scoopology cookbook, with Ryse protein powder, and ran the light ice cream setting once and it came out perfect. 👌🏼I did not let the pint sit before spinning or ran it under warm water. Just took it out of the freezer and ran it once. The sides of the pint aren’t even icy. Texture and taste is amazing. I bought this appliance based off that it’s easier to clean than the ninja creami and I couldn’t agree more. BUY IT!

  The BLACK+DECKER Perfect Pint Ice Cream Maker has been such a fun addition to our kitchen. I love that once the pint is frozen, it only takes a few minutes to turn your ingredients into creamy, delicious ice cream, making it perfect for busy families. The freezing process does require some planning ahead, but I just keep a pint ready in the freezer so it’s always available when we’re craving a treat.I was pleasantly surprised by how little mess it creates. Everything stays well-contained during mixing, and cleanup is quick and easy afterward. The machine itself feels sturdy and well made, and after multiple uses it still performs just as well as it did the first time.
