heavy and far from non sticking on the 10th use

Changed color on the inside of the pan really fast (some parts), and degrades how sticky is when cooking really fast

    Heavy non-stick pan

It seems good. The surface is non-stick. It comes with instructions. However it is very heavy.

    Rust

The day after I first used the pan and washed and dried it, there was rust discoloration at the point where the handle connects to the pan. With a little EVOO, a paper towel, and a tooth brush I got rid of the rust. The pan performed as expected. If I see rust again, I will ask for a replacement.

Coating fails unevenly can’t reseason it

I bought an 8” skillet to cook eggs in after reading this brand’s promotional materials. Despite careful use and cleaning and a few attempts to re-season, The factory applied Coating came off unevenly exposing the metal underneath, and I could not fix it by re-seasoning it (as I have done successfully with cast iron over the years). Eggs stick and this pan is not fit for advertised use. When I contacted product support with video showing the failure, they wrote this: Sticking and discoloration aren’t covered under our warranty, so they wouldn’t qualify for a replacement.Save your money.

    My new forever frying pan

I got this today, and within 20 minutes, I was using it. I made chili. First, I fried sausage, then I seared stew meat. I followed that with hamburger meat, where I added the chili. Finally, I cleaned out the pan sautéing onions. The pan was perfect nothing ever stuck. Once I was finished, I wiped it clean with a sponge and running water and hung it up in the spot reserved for my favorite pan. I could have paid twice as much and considered it a bargain. The 10-inch version hangs right next to it.

Good as a 15$ frying pan

Great disappointment. I've had better frying pand for $20.I returned the first one because it was weirdly discolored straight out of the box. The replacement (same model) looked good but a month into it i don't want to use it anymore. It is no longer a non-stick. And this one is only one of 3 frying pans in use at our house. Thus, it doesn't get all that much use.Look for something else.

Excellent pan. Don’t listen to the bad reviews.

Don’t listen to those who don’t know how to use and care for this pan! It’s great! Clean and dry it after each use and coat with a light oil. Takes me about a minute. I use a cast iron coconut oil. It is lightweight, has excellent nonstick properties and is very easy to clean. The complainers just don’t know what they’re doing. It’s the best pan I’ve ever used.

    No real warranty

The pan shipped on time and seemed like a very good product. I used it once, washed it per the instructions and completely dried it per the instructions. Went to use it a second time and saw rust stains on the cover it came in. Upon inspection I found there were three small areas on the bottom side of the pan that did not have any coating; I had to look closely to see that there is carbon steel is exposed (unfinished surface); didn't see it when I first unpackaged the pan. I sent photos and a description to Misen "customer service." They said there was no defect and no warranty claim - told be to season it. Right, season the bottom of the pan. Brilliant. I made a second attempt but got the same canned response. Appears they are trained to ensure no warranty claims are processed. There is no number to call to discuss the matter, so I'm stuck with a pan that will start rusting after each use. Bottom line, don't be taken in by their "lifetime warranty" claim. They can deny warranty claims for the lifetime of the product.
