  worth every penny

  I was honestly surprised by how good this knife set is for the price. I previously owned a $300 knife set, and I can confidently say the Fikshot knives are just as sharp — maybe even sharper right out of the box. The blades slice through meat, vegetables, and bread effortlessly, and they still hold their edge really well after regular use. The full tang handles also feel sturdy and comfortable in hand, which makes prep work much easier.I also love how sleek and modern the black knife block looks on my kitchen counter. It feels like a premium set without the premium price tag. The built-in sharpener is a nice bonus too.My only small complaint is the kitchen scissors placement in the block. The scissors tend to rub against the slot when pulling them out, and it scratches the knife block a bit over time. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but I do wish that part was designed a little better.Overall, this is an excellent value knife set that performs far beyond its price point. Great for home cooks, new homeowners, or anyone wanting a high-end feel without spending hundreds of dollars.

  Beautiful and sharp

  We have only had these for 2 days but they are really nice looking and don't feel or look cheap. Perfect upgrade to replace out 15 year old set. I just hope they do not rust but we will see, and I will update if they do.

  Love these knives!

  I must say these knives exceeded my expectation in every way!They came super sharp, and free of any imperfection.I will update my review if anything changes but I suspect these will last years to come with simple maintenance.My previous knife sets have all gotten rust where the knife connects to the handle; I purchased the silver handles so these knives are one complete piece so I shouldn't get any rust like my previous knife sets. The silver handles also feel solid and have a nice weight to them, all in all for the price and the number of knives this set is hard to beat.The one thing I think could be improved on is more subtle placement of the brand name. Possible moving "Fikshot" to the top or back of the knife block, and smaller brand name on each blade would be appreciated.

  Good quality, looks good. Easy to use, but really how hard is it to use a knife? Average weight, I wouldn’t say they’re any heavier than the last knives we had. Cuts nice, but we had some reeeaally dull knives before these. Regarding rust resistance: I noticed that there were some rust spots after only a few uses, but we have a little stainless steel scrubber so it doesn’t bother us. We just wash it if we notice it.Overall, 5/5 from us.

  Ordered 2; one for me, and one for a friend's birthday gift. Love me some Prime, got them less than 24 hours later. Unboxed my set. What a great set of knives. I got the black block, on sale. About $7 cheaper than the wood finish. I am not unhappy AT ALL. I was worried this might be a Temu experience, where what I ordered vs. what I got would be dinky, un-inspiring and cheap. These things are indeed razor sharp, nice and thick blades, brushed but also a high-lustre finish. Basically a working-man's Global! Which is why I was attracted this knife set in the 1st place. I was and am a big fan of Anthony Bourdain, and his favorite knives as a professional chef were Global brand. These have that look. A nice nod to Mr. Bourdain, and high-quality Kitchen knives at a super-budget friendly price. I also appreciate that there are no gaps or cracks for food material to build up, no rivets to fail, no weird plastic handle pieces to chip and break after years of dishwasher and kitchen use, etc., etc. I know it's gauche to put fine knives in the dishwasher, but let's just have a little bit of a reality check: most of us sooner or later are going to cram them in the dishwasher. I also know the friend I bought a set of these for very well, and I know he is going to cram these in the dishwasher, out of the gate. So, good looking, functional, sanitary, what's not to love? The hype is real. While these are still on sale, I bought a 3rd set tonight. For me or for a future gift. I worked in a kitchen through out high school and then some; I like having more than 1 Chef knife and more than 1 Santoku at my disposal, especially to prevent cross-contamination while cooking at home. Not to mention an extra paring knife, etc. These sets are currently such a great price, why not have 2?
