My New Favorite Pan
This sauté pan has quickly become my favorite piece of cookware. The 6-quart size is incredibly versatile—large enough to handle family-sized meals while still being practical for smaller everyday cooking tasks. It’s one of those pans that seems to fit almost any recipe I throw at it.The ceramic nonstick coating has been outstanding. I’ve cooked everything from proteins to sauces and vegetables, and I haven’t experienced any sticking issues whatsoever. Even when cooking with little to no butter or oil, food releases effortlessly from the surface. It makes both cooking and cleanup significantly easier. The high sides are also a nice feature, helping contain splatter while providing plenty of room for stirring and tossing ingredients.Cleanup is probably my favorite part. Since food doesn’t stick, most messes wipe away with minimal effort. I haven’t had to spend time scrubbing stubborn residue, which is always a welcome change after making a larger meal. The overall construction feels premium and durable, exactly what I’d expect from All-Clad. The handles feel sturdy, the lid fits well, and the pan has a substantial feel without being excessively heavy. It looks great in the kitchen and performs even better.Overall, this pan has exceeded my expectations and has earned a permanent spot on my stovetop. If you’re looking for a versatile, high-quality sauté pan with excellent nonstick performance, this one is easy to recommend.Pros:* Excellent nonstick performance* Large 6-quart capacity handles both big and small meals* Even heat distribution* High sides help reduce splatter* Extremely easy cleanup* Feels durable and well-made* Works on all stovetops, including induction* Attractive design with quality constructionCons:* Hand wash only* Larger size may take up more storage space

Professional results without the fuss of stainless-steel.
I didn't have to think twice when I had the opportunity to review the All-Clad HA1 Ceramic lineup. This line of cookware is their popular line of heavy gauge pots and pans featuring hard anodized exteriors and ceramic coated interiors for extended durability. The pieces have good weight and balance and are compatible with all types of cooktops. They are comprised of hardened anodized aluminum with a bonded stainless steel base for durability, even heat distribution and retention. The interiors of the HA1 lineup feature the All-Clad HardCore Ceramic Technology, a tough ceramic coating that is stain and scratch resistant while at the same time offer PFOA / PFTE free non-stick cooking, high heat tolerance and easy cleanup. The tempered glass lids fit snugly and make it easy to view cooking progress. The handles offer good ergonomics, are comfortable in hand and are stackable without scratching. This 6 qt Saute Pan Set with Lid performed as expected with excellent results at all temperature ranges. The All-Clad HA1 lineup is a higher end choice for cookware that most home chefs will find more than adequate. The pans offer superior results without the fuss of stainless steel. The HA1 lineup is a great investment for your kitchen that will step up your cooking game.RecommendedMW

My first high-quality piece of cookware
This is the real deal. It's heavy, heavy-duty, solid, and high quality. The heft alone is impressive and I have to use both hands to hold this even when it's empty. The base is nice and thick which helps with heating evenly, which is a bonus for me because I've just moved into a new place and have found that the burners are unfortunately very finicky, as in what's labeled as low heat has ended up scorching my other pot and basically ruined the food by imparting that burnt flavor into it.This is thick enough to promote a more even heating of ingredients and even if I misjudge just how hot the burner is, it's able to distribute the heat well. It's also nonstick which is another bonus because I'm not putting this in the dishwasher and I also refuse to stand over a sink scrubbing a pan and potentially ruining its surface. The size is another bonus. I'm a fan of meal prepping because it's the easiest way to promote healthy eating - if I can walk in the kitchen, open the fridge, and grab a container of something to reheat, I'm much more likely to stick to a sensible (in terms of healthy ingredients and in terms of money spent) day of eating versus getting frustrated enough and ordering takeout - since I can make a big batch of something at once. This is large enough to make a pot of soups, stews, stir fry, pasta, etc. and have several servings without worrying about anything bubbling over. Plus its versatility means the initial sauteing then later addition of ingredients to bubble and boil together can all be done in one pot.I'm very pleased with this pan/pot and it gets me into a Gordon Ramsey mood because it's so easy to use and makes cooking feel foolproof. The material is easy to clean and also makes it easy to cook with minimal oil. I've ditched my cheaper pot that burned an entire quantity of stew (over 16 servings).

The Perfect Sauté Pan
This All-Clad HA1® Ceramic Nonstick, 6 Quart Pan with Lid is nothing short of amazing. I had a name brand 6 quart sauce pan I'd loved and had used for a number of years, but the non-stick surface was beginning to feel rough. With all of the concerns about the chemicals in non-stick surfaces, I thought it was time to try ceramic. I am so glad I did. This larger sauté pan is so useful. You can mix, simmer, and even braise without spatters on the oven. It's also easier to prepare a variety of one-pan meals in them. To have this ceramic nonstick coating makes everything so simple.First, this ceramic pan is everything nonstick ceramic should be. I've encountered some ceramic that's OK, but not great. This All-Clad pan is amazing. Nothing sticks to it. Whatever I've cooked, once I'm done, I let it cool and most residue just wipes out. It only takes moments to then finish the cleaning.I'm only using oils or butter for flavoring and not worried about the sticking. Food just does not stick to it. That can be a bit of a problem when you're looking for the fond for flavoring, though I'm still getting some of that...it's just not sticking. It's a substantial pan, with sides much higher than some other 6 qt pans I considered. In the end, I prefer the higher side for the flexibility it gives me in my cooking. It does however make the pan fairly heavy. This is NOT a lightweight pan. That's no problem since the grip handle on the far side from the long handle makes it easy to pickup and move whether empty or full. It's also great that it's oven safe for such a high temperature of 450 degrees.I like the glass top so I can more easily see what's cooking. Though All-Clad says it's sturdy enough for metal utensils, I prefer to stick to wood or silicone utensils. It's so nonstick that it's not a problem. It's a reasonable price and worth every penny. This is the most used pan in my kitchen.

Professional-Quality Saute Pan That Makes Everyday Cooking Almost Effortless!
I upgraded to this All-Clad HA1 six quart saute pan three months ago, and it's completely transformed how I cook weeknight meals. The ceramic nonstick interior lives up to the hype, food releases effortlessly without sticking, even when I'm cooking eggs, delicate fish, or sugar-heavy sauces that usually burn into other pans. The HardCore Ceramic coating is genuinely scratch resistant. I've accidentally used metal utensils a few times with no damage, and there are zero stains or discoloration after dozens of uses. The even heat distribution is outstanding. My old pan had frustrating hot spots that caused uneven cooking, but this one heats uniformly across the entire surface thanks to the stainless-steel base. Whether I'm braising chicken, sautéing vegetables, or building one-pan pasta dishes, everything cooks consistently. The high sides contain splatter beautifully, keeping my stovetop clean while I cook. I love that it's compatible with my induction cooktop and oven safe up to four hundred fifty degrees for finishing dishes. The prostack handles make storage neat without damaging the surface, and the tempered glass lid lets me monitor progress without lifting. Cleanup takes seconds with just a warm soapy wipe. For anyone wanting restaurant-quality results at home, this pan delivers professional performance in a durable, easy-care design. It's become my most-used piece of cookware for breakfast through dinner. Highly recommend for serious home cooks who value versatility and longevity. Five stars without hesitation.

Versatile, Beautiful, and Worth Every Penny
I’ve owned quite a few sauté pans over the years, but this All-Clad HA1 Ceramic Nonstick 6-Quart Sauté Pan has quickly become the most-used piece of cookware in my kitchen. At $179.99, it’s definitely an investment, but the quality and performance make it feel like money well spent. The first thing I noticed was how substantial and well-made it feels. The hard-anodized aluminum construction is sturdy without being excessively heavy, and the light gray ceramic interior gives it a clean, modern look. The high sides are perfect for containing splatter, whether I’m browning meat, sautéing vegetables, or simmering sauces. The nonstick performance has been outstanding. Foods release effortlessly with very little oil, and cleanup is incredibly easy. I’ve made everything from one-pan pasta dishes to braised chicken and vegetable stir-fries, and nothing has stuck. The ceramic surface also seems much more resistant to staining than other nonstick cookware I’ve owned. One feature I particularly appreciate is the size. The 6-quart capacity is large enough for family meals, meal prep, and entertaining, but it still feels manageable on the stovetop. The included glass lid is great for monitoring food without constantly lifting the cover and releasing heat. What really stands out is how versatile this pan is. I’ve used it for sautéing, simmering, braising, one-pot meals, and even oven-finishing recipes. It’s become one of those rare kitchen tools that can handle almost anything.Heat distribution has been excellent as well. The stainless-steel base provides consistent heating with no obvious hot spots, which helps foods cook more evenly. I’ve used it on both gas and induction cooktops with great results. If you’re looking for a premium nonstick sauté pan that’s spacious, durable, easy to clean, and incredibly versatile, this All-Clad HA1 Ceramic model is an excellent choice. It has exceeded my expectations and earned a permanent place on my stovetop.

Love, Love, Love
I'm a cast iron girl through and through and rarely ever cook in anything else because I like the sear and caramelization I get with the heat of the pan. I rarely have issues with sticking since I've learned how to adjust the heat appropriately, However, foods with acidic sauces eat away at the finish and can taint the flavor of the food. Cleaning can also be a pain and they are HEAVY so cast iron does have its limitations.I have tried other, earlier versions of ceramic nonstick pans and have been very disappointed with both the performance (zero caramelization) and eventual loss of the anti stick surface. Move over cast iron: this pan is a game changer.First, it is a beautiful pan that is actually large enough for me to cook all of my meal delivery kit ingredients in one pan with decreased splatter because of the high sides. And I can actually lift it and tip it to scrape out the sauces when plating unlike my 12 inch cast iron pan that would break my wrists. Major plus. The handles also stay cool enough to touch so no dish towel or potholder is needed when handling. It heats quickly on medium heat and the heat distribution is even throughout the pan surface. Clean up is amazingly easy with almost all of the residue rinsing off with just water.I was a little disappointed that instructions weren't included, just a QR to scan and read online. That's where I discovered that the pan shouldn't be heated without oil and if the oil smokes, it's too hot and may damage the ceramic coating (no higher than a medium flame on my gas range). This is opposite of my cast iron brain mentality since I do the opposite of this but it's an easy adaptation. As you can see from the picture, my chicken breasts are perfectly seared and were juicy and flavorful. It just cooks beautifully.I've only had it a few weeks so I cannot speak to its durability, but All-Clad had a fantastic reputation in the cookware sector so I have hopes that with continued good care, this will be my last sauté pan

Second one is perfect!
First one was warped so that oil went to the sides and not stay in the middle. I spoke with all-clad and they offered to send me a label since it it warranted for life but I decided to return it and get another from Amazon. The replacement is perfectly flat so I’m hoping it stays that way. It really is an awesome sautee pan!
